After tarking a break from competitive play for a split, Yasin “Nisqy” Dinçer made his comeback to the scene by signing a contract with MAD Lions.
MAD Lions won the LEC trophy two times in a row last season but lost two of their important pieces. Marek “Humanoid” Brazda joined Fnatic and Matyáš “Carzzy” Orság left the team after signing a contract with Team Vitality. MAD had a disastrous split as they failed to qualify for the playoffs. To turn things around, the board made the first change before the upcoming split by signing a contract with Nisqy.
MAD Lions LEC 2022 Summer Split Roster
- İrfan Berk “Armut” Tükek
- Javier Prades “Elyoya” Batalla
- Yasin “Nisqy” Dinçer
- William “UNFORGIVEN” Nieminen
- Norman “Kaiser” Kaiser
Nisqy played for top-tier teams throughout his career. His professional career started back in 2015. The Belgian/Turkish player competed under different European teams’ roofs and spent a little time with the Turkish team, Team Orora. He showed his capabilities under the Fnatic Academy jersey and signed a contract with Team EnvyUs to compete in North America. He then went back to Europe and signed with Splyce and bounced back to NA and joined Cloud9. Nisqy was a part of the C9 roster that won the LCS 2022 Spring trophy. Then, he joined Fnatic but failed to achieve anything worthy, besides reaching the LEC 2022 Summer Playoffs and making it to the international stage.

MAD Lions won both splits last year but made a disastrous start to the 2022 season. They acquired William “UNFORGIVEN” Nieminen and Steven “Reeker” Chen but the youngsters failed to show their true potential. The MAD Lions roster looks stronger with Nisqy but time will show how they will perform on the rift. It is known that Armut and Nisqy are great friends and chemistry is very important so that may be one of the biggest strengths of the organization now.
