A potential Nintendo Switch 2 leak shows off design and specs.
Nintendo’s upcoming console could include magnetic joycons and 12GB RAM!
But are these leaks true, or are they trying to give us the switcher?
Nintendo Switch 2 Leak
A potential Nintendo Switch 2 leak from China may have just dropped the design and specs. A Reddit post claims that a Chinese website dropped factory prototypes for the Nintendo Switch 2.

But the website itself has not been referenced or linked to. However, we do have the clips and specs, and things are looking interesting if true. Also, while the sources have not been verified, one stakeholder claimer says they match what Nintendo has told business partners.
Firstly to note is the inclusion of magnetic joycon controllers. Rather than having joycons slot in, we now have ones that magnetize. Much akin to magnetic thumbsticks and buttons, I suppose.
Secondly, the design specs show the console will have 256GB of storage and just 12GB of RAM! Some gamers have said that those numbers are a little low for a new console, even with Nitendo. However, some have said that the Nintendo Switch 2 leak is not bad news if that is the case.

Also, the console will include 2 USB-C ports as well as dual cooling fans. Supposedly the size of the case is 206 x 115 x 14 mm, which is a fair bit bigger than the original.
But we also have an inbuilt microphone as well, according to the Nintendo Switch 2 leak. Whether or not that mic is 360-tier quality though has yet to be seen!

Now some gamers and fans are criticizing the design for being too similar to the original look. However, for others and myself, this is no problem and comes as no surprise if true. The original did gangbusters and really just works as it is. Not much point in reinventing the wheel!
But again, the current source is trust me, bro, so take it with a grain of salt!
Switch 2 Magnetic Boogoloo
So we know Nintendo is definitely making the Switch 2, as the company confirmed it. But they have been keeping super tight-lipped about any details regarding the release.

While these are just speculations and most likely early builds that are prone to change, it is fun to speculate.
Honestly, the inclusion of magnetic joycons sounds like a smart move for the console. Having to slot in the original controllers is fine enough but can get a bit finnicky. And let’s be real, we have all slotted the controller the wrong way once or twice!
According to this Nintendo Switch 2 leak, we have magnetic joycons to play with. But will the inebitable drift be affected more or less by the magnets?
Also, let’s be real, the console is going to do great sales-wise. Unless they come out with a Wii U situation, all the thing needs to be is a Switch Pro.

But this is Nintendo we are talking about here. Maybe the only company right now willing to take fun risks and actually innovate. If they come out talking about some new Nintendo AI, I am going to consider hermit moderating!
You can check out the supposed Nintendo Switch 2 leak over on the thread for yourself. Keep in mind if these are true; they are early design documents. Most likely, the real deal could have slight or major changes.
But keep the magnets, Nintendo, for real! Also, make sure that Bad Boy is backwards compatible with the original switch. Because if not, you are going to make me sad because I know damn well they will be overpriced downloads on the market!
