The latest Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite & Beyond has brought back a resurgence of players.
Capcom’s 2017 fighting game blunder has suddenly been getting positive reviews on PC.
But is this because of the new mod, and what does it do exactly?
Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite & Beyond Mod
It’s not controversial to say that Capcom’s 2017 MVC release was not well received. But honestly, it was deservedly so.
The graphics were just plain ugly, giving Dante one of the worst looks around. It had a severe lack of overall characters compared to other titles in the series. Also, it was just boring to play with matches, repeating the same old dry combos and setups.
However, a group of dedicated fans has once again taken it upon themselves to fix it. Enter the Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite & Beyond overhaul mod!

This mod changes the overall visuals of the game, making it look less like Unreal Slop and more like an actual game with style and passion. Also, it adds a ton of new moves and modes to the lineup.
In particular, it includes a new 4-player 2v2 tag mode. Here players can compete 2v2 at once, like an off-the-wall Mugen match.
Also, we get new music created from fans and unique palettes and costumes for fighters. Although it changes the gameplay balances of the original game, it does so for the better. Characters play more like they should, and the game is overall much faster and more fun.

Not to mention the Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite & Beyond mod works perfectly fine online! So you and a bunch of friends can enjoy the new polished look to the game together.
Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite & Beyond has been getting a lot of traction from fans recently. Not only fans but people wanting to jump into the game new altogether.
How To Install
Firstly, to install Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite & Beyond, you are going to need the OG. We will need the original game bought on Steam downloaded.
Secondly, we are going to need to download the Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite & Beyond mod. Grab the zip and unzip it, of course.
Copy the “MVCI” folder extracted from the MVCI Beyond 1.0.zip. Paste/drag the downloaded MVCI folder into the Steam install folder (SteamsteamappscommonMARVEL VS. CAPCOM INFINITE). Windows will merge the MVCI folder with the one that is already there. Replace any files your system prompts you for.
But remember to open the game via the shortcut from the folder and not Steam. Now that we have the game up and running, you should be seeing it with a fresh coat of paint.

Also make sure to activate and deactivate modes with the right FN buttons.
I am going to be for real here and say that Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite & Beyond greatly improves this trash game. And that’s what it was and still is to this day: trash.
From someone who was playing Marvel Vs Capcom 1 back in the day, it was depressing to see the state of the game from Capcom and just how low Marvel had gotten respecting their own and other IPs.

Christ I say that like a fanatic brand Ips! But you know what I mean: just the soullessness of the entire game. It felt like it was made on some dingy conveyor belt and had the approved badge slammed on it by some corporate executive.
We all know why, though, with Marvel’s Avengers at the time assaulting the theaters. To this day, the slow waves of that high water mark are reached every new show and then!
But thank you, modders, for making games like this tolerable and fun! Console bros, I am sorry, no ports right now. 🙁
