Gamers and anime fans are excited for the Hunter X Hunter fighting game announced by Eighting.
The developers behind Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 are set to announce more details early this year!
But who are Eighting, and what can this new HXH game be like?
Hunter X Hunter Fighting Game Announced by Bushiroad Games
On December 16th, it was announced that the beloved anime series Hunter X Hunter will be getting its own fighting game!
Japanese publisher Bushiroad Games announced there would be more details on January 2nd! This is aligned with the Jump Festa 2024 connection. Although it was just a title card announcement, fans have already gotten excited. But via their website, more key details will be revealed over at the Tokyo Dome Hall.
But what has fans really excited is the developer behind the production, Eighting. These are the guys behind iconic fighting games such as Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 and Tasunoko Vs. Capcom!
Because of this, fans are excited about the potential of this new HXH game. Also, fans are hoping that the game will be similar to their previous titles and not just another anime arena fighter. Not that every arena fighter is bad, but if you know, you know!
But if it is anywhere close to the standard we got with MVC3, then there is nothing to worry about. Although different from the widely acclaimed Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, MVC3 has enjoyed a longstanding run at the FGC thanks to its amazing gameplay and dedicated fan base.
Hopefully we get to see some gameplay at the upcoming Tokyo Dome announcement and maybe even a release date window of 2024. But either way, we are excited to see Hunter X Hunter get some love in any shape or form.
