MSI 2022 Group Draw

MSI 2022 is at the door now and the group stage draws are set as all teams around the globe are ready to compete against each other.

After Worlds, MSI is the second most prestigious League of Legends tournament right now and it is about to begin. As all the regional tournaments are done, it is now time for the bigger competition.

Group A

• Detonation FocusMe
• Saigon Buffalo
• T1
• Team Aze

Japan, Vietnam, South Korea, and Latin America teams are going to face each other in this group. T1 look like the biggest favorite not only in this group but also generally the biggest favorite of MSI 2022. It will be interesting to see Detonation FocusMe and Saigon Buffalo’s competition as these two teams are probably going to battle for the second seed. Team Aze’s chances are ratherly low.

Group B

• İstanbul Wildcats
• PSG Talon
• Royal Never Give Up
• RED Canids

The best feeling about this group is that we will get to see two great competitions. One is between PSG Talon and Royal Never Give Up and the second one is of course the Turkey vs Brazil rivalry.

Group C

• Evil Geniuses
• G2 Esports
• ORDER

Lastly, the only group with three teams is Group C of MSI 2022. North America and Europe will battle for the first seed of the group and ORDER may upset one of them and surprise everyone.

It is always exciting to see regional champions facing each other. There will be an incredible competition this year. The South Korean champions and the Chinese champions’ battle will be on another level for sure if they play against each other.

MSI 2022 will start on May 10. The first two teams of each group are going to advance in the tournament and the rest will go back to their homes.
