Developer Off-Black Creations and publisher Oro Interactive have officially unveiled MOLE, a psychological horror game set deep beneath post-war Slavic soil. The game places players inside a massive underground drilling machine, where survival depends on keeping the vessel operational while reality slowly unravels.
In MOLE, players descend into impossible depths, managing failing systems while facing isolation, guilt, and creeping madness. As the journey progresses, the line between memory and hallucination begins to blur, with disturbing events and cinematic set pieces shaping the experience.
The core gameplay revolves around maintaining the machine’s complex systems through tactile, hands-on interactions. Players must solve diegetic puzzles using in-world tools and interfaces, uncover buried memories, and make decisions that echo throughout the descent.
