After parting ways with Shin “HiRit” Tae-min, Misfits Gaming have promoted Joel “Irrelevant” Miro Scharoll to the LEC roster for the upcoming split.
Misfits Gaming had great success last split, winning 12 games and losing 6 in the regular season. After failing to win the championship in the playoffs, they parted ways with HiRit before the start of the 2022 LEC Summer Split. According to the latest announcement, the academy top laner, Irrelevant will fill the South Korean player’s shoes. Misfits have also acquired Krzysztof “Kackos” Kubziakowski for their academy team that competes in the French LoL league, LFL.

Irrelevant’s professional career has started back in 2020 under the AeQ Esports roof. He played for Manguste eSports, Flayn eSports, GameWard, and WAVE Esports, before joining Misfits Premier. Irrelevant didn’t have the best split with Misfits Gaming Academy, also known as Misfits Premier. Despite finishing the season with 11 wins and 7 losses, they failed to reach EU Masters.
Misfits Gaming have recently parted ways with their South Korean top laner, HiRit. He was a decent part of the roster but the organization decided to continue their way with another European player. Irrelevant will fill his shoes in the upcoming split of the LEC.
Moreover, the organization will compete with an experienced in the upcoming LFL split. They have acquired Nikolay “Zanzarah” Akatov from Astralis and their bot lane consists of Paweł “Woolite” Pruski and Oskar “Vander” Bogdan. Mateusz “Czajek” Czajka will be the mid laner of the academy team. Misfit’s Summer Split roster may have many promotions within the roster as both teams look decent on paper. We may see some surprises as we move further in the tournament.
