The legendary Call of Duty player Lamar “Accuracy” Abedi left Minnesota ROKKR after getting benched in the middle of the season.
Minnesota ROKKR made a disastrous start to this year’s Call of Duty League action. With Dillon “Attach” Price, Michael “MajorManiak” Szymaniak, Preston “Priestahh” Greiner, and Attach on the roster, the Minnesota representatives failed to meet expectations. The Minnesota team were the first one to make a roster change. After the season came to an end, ROKKR parted ways with Accuracy.
Stage 1 of this year’s Call of Duty League was a disaster for the team. Minnesota ROKKR secured three wins and two losses during the Group Stage. The Major was not different from it as the team lost their first game against Toronto Ultra and got eliminated in their first attempt. The team was in need of a change either on the roster or the game plan.
However, ROKKR made a clutch roster change and acquired Eli “Standy” Bentz from the NA Challengers team Fantastic Four. Their Stage 2 performance was a lot better but things got messy once again with the start of Stage 3. The Minnesota representatives needed another change and decided to bench Accuracy.
As a result, their performance increased and looked a lot better compared to previous events. After the Championship Stage ended, the Northern team decided to part ways with Accuracy. He was an important piece of the roster but after Accuracy was benched, the team showed better performances for sure.
Abedi is still a valuable option for the other Call of Duty League teams. It would not be right to say that he was the main problem in ROKKR’s poor performance. Call of Duty comes up with a whole different game every season and next season things will get exciting. Accuracy may find the best option for him and step up for his team during the upcoming season.
