Just weeks after release, Marvel Rivals adds the Fantastic Four team to the roster!
We are getting not one but four new heroes to play with on January 6th.
Also with the leaks we have an early look at how Mr. Reed Richards will play…
Marvel Rivals Adds Fantastic Four Team
It has not been out for long, but we are already getting new heroes to the roster. Marvel Rivals Adds Fantastic Four’s Entire Team This January 6th! That means Reed, Susan, Torch, and the Thing are inbound!

Fans are very happy for the entire team to make the cut. Especially in Susan’s case, given her two best abilities… Invisibility and being a loving wife.
But in all truth, fans are just happy that they are getting the whole roster since it means way more fun heroes to choose from. And I mean fun since the guys at Marvel Rivals value making the characters play like you imagine they would. Although that trumps competitive balancing, who cares!

However, for those unaware, the Fantastic Four are a longstanding Marvel IP since the 60s. It consists of a stretchy guy, an invisible woman, a guy who can catch fire, and a guy made out of rocks. Why are people excited about Marvel Rivals Adds Fantastic Four all of a sudden?
Firstly, a little bit more about Reed’s importance: he is often close to, if not the smartest man in the comics, depending on the writer. Reed is a super genius who competes with or even trumps Stark and Professor X sometimes.

Also, his main thing is he stretches, which sounds lame at first. But upon application, it turns out fighting a guy who has the consistency of rubber and can fit his entire body in your mouth and inflate is not a good idea.
I believe the DC boys have someone else with the same ability. And yet that guy is even considered dangerous by a guy like Superman.
So he and the rest of the crew are why Marvel Rivals Adds Fantastic Four is trending right now.
Reed Richard Leaks
The game devs uploaded a nice splash art of the crew. Marvel Rivals Adds Fantastic Four roster on Jan 6th, and they have the scans to show. But, unwantedly, we also have a leak pic of Reed’s upcoming moves.

TLDR, he plays like Zach from League. He stretches and pursues players across the map; he plays like Zach. Which honestly does sound fitting for the guy. We are going off more of Ultimate Richards, where he goes off unhinged, I guess.
His model looks good, and his moveset looks like it will fill the purse hole. Yeah, you got Logan and Iron Fist, but they are glass cannons.
Marvel Rivals adds the Fantastic Four to the game, and we get a new hero for each category. Reeds will definitely be a Vanguard type given his skills that I am seeing here.
But the only thing I hope is that Zach translates well to 3D gameplay. Also, Torch being a flying Iron Man-esque type would fit. Plus, Susan fits well as support with Thing in Vanguard too.
