The Competitive Fortnite Team recently announced the official rules for the upcoming MamaBenjyFishy Creator Cup – Chapter 4 Season 2.

Competitive Fortnite players have already been playing practice scrims to get ready for the new tournament season. However, the MamaBenjyFishy cup is the first official competitive event for Chapter 4 Season 2.

This tournament promises to be an adrenaline-pumping competition that tests the skills of the best Fortnite players from around the world.

Even though BenjyFishy has moved on from the Fortnite competitive scene, it’s great to see his mom still active in the community.

Competing for Glory and Prizes

The MamaBenjyFishy Creator Cup – Chapter 4 Season 2 is designed to ensure the integrity of competitive play while promoting fair and exciting competition.

The event will be structured in various stages, with players competing in rounds to earn points based on their performance. The top point-earning teams will advance to the next round, culminating in a final showdown where the winners will take home cash prizes.

A High-Stakes Battle Royale

The event will feature “Battle Royale” and “Trios” game mode settings, with matches played until a player or team achieves a Victory Royale or meets certain victory conditions. Teams will have a set number of matches to participate in during each round, with points awarded for eliminations and placements.

Exciting Schedule and Format

The MamaBenjyFishy Creator Cup will take place on March 17, with Round 1 and Round 2 being held across all regions. Players must rank in the Open League or higher within their respective region to be eligible to compete. Round 1 will last for two hours, with teams participating in a maximum of seven matches. The top 33 point-earning teams will advance to Round 2, which will also last for two hours and feature a maximum of four matches.

Coveted Prizes Up for Grabs

Cash prizes will be awarded to the top teams in each region, with the winnings divided evenly between the three players on each team. The prize pool includes:

Europe: 1st place – $3,600
NA: 1st place – $2,700
Brazil: 1st place – $1,200
Asia: 1st place – $1,200
Middle East: 1st place – $750
OCE: 1st place – $750

Scoring System: Battle for Points and Victory

To determine the rankings and advancement of teams, the MamaBenjyFishy Creator Cup – Chapter 4 Season 2 will utilize a scoring system based on placements and eliminations. Points will be awarded differently for each round, with Round 1 and Round 2 featuring separate scoring systems.

Round 1 Scoring System

In Round 1, teams will earn points based on the following placement and elimination criteria:

Breaking the Ties

In case of a tie, the following criteria will be used to determine the winner:

Average eliminations in the session
Average placement per match in the session
Total seconds survived across all matches
