The LEC team, MAD Lions, have parted ways with their Czech marksman player Matyas “Carzzy” Orsag.
MAD Lions have had one of the biggest rises as they won two LEC splits in a row. İrfan “Armut” Berk Tükek, Javier “Elyoya” Prades Batalla, Marek “Humanoid” Brazda, Norman “Kaiser” Kaiser, and Carzzy had a wonderful chemistry together. However, the dream team have been split apart as MAD Lions decided the departure of Carzzy.
Carzzy started his professional career back in 2916. After competing for many different European teams, he found himself a home in Berlin International Gaming (BIG). BIG won the second most prestigious tournament in Europe, European Masters, and Carzzy showed incredible performances. He was one of the most important pieces of the BIG roster during the tournament.
He got in LEC teams’ radar and got picked up by MAD Lions. MAD had near-great performances during 2020 and signed two rookies in 2021. The team won LEC twice and represented their region in the international stage. MAD reached MSI 2021 Semi Finals and Worlds 2021 Quarter Finals respectively.
The off-season is going wild as lots of rumors are flying around and different teams from different regions announce their “big” moves. It is rumored that Carzzy will join Team Vitality for the upcoming LEC season. Team Vitality may sign Barney “Alphari” Morris, Luca “Perkz” Perkovic. According to rumors, they will keep Oskar “Selfmade” Boderek, and Labros “Labrov” Papaoutsakis.
If Carzzy joins Team Vitality with other rumored players, the team may build the next super-team of LEC. On the other hand, we may see MAD Lions going for rookies to fill Carzzy’s spot. There are some players that they could possibly sign, but nothing is crystal clear yet. Carzzy’s next team and MAD Lions’ new marksman will be official in the upcoming days.
