The Valentine’s Day-themed Love, Romance, and Heartbreak Debutante Ball is now live on Steam, celebrating all things love, longing, and emotional chaos. Running from February 13 through February 20, 2026, the festival highlights over 100 games centered around romance, relationships, heartbreak, and even the desire to stay single.
Designed as a curated Steam festival, the event shines a spotlight on games that explore love in all its forms, from sweet and wholesome stories to dramatic and bittersweet experiences.
What’s Included in the Festival
The event is split into two main parts:
- LRHDB Steam Festival – Featuring more than 100 games with Valentine’s Day themes.
- LRHDB Direct – A 22-minute showcase presenting trailers from around 20 games included in the festival.
The lineup covers a wide range of genres, including visual novels, farming simulators, RPGs, puzzle games, and interactive fiction. Players can find themselves dating in Victorian-era England, surviving an apocalypse with a partner, playing as a cat in love, or even trying to retrieve an engagement ring from an arcade claw machine.
While most titles are safe for work, some NSFW games are also included. These will only appear for players whose Steam account settings allow adult content.
A New Game Announcement
Also revealed during the festival is a brand-new visual novel from the event’s organizer titled Breaking Up Is Hard To Do.
In the game, players face a surprisingly difficult mission: breaking up with their girlfriend. The twist? She doesn’t want to break up. Players must decide whether to be brutally honest or gently compassionate, all while trying not to lose their resolve. If they hesitate too much, they might end up staying together, proving that sometimes, breaking up really is hard to do.
A Festival for Every Kind of Love
From heartfelt romance to emotional rollercoasters and comedic heartbreak, the Love, Romance, and Heartbreak Debutante Ball offers something for every type of player. Whether you’re in the mood for falling in love, staying single, or navigating messy relationships, this Steam festival is your Valentine’s Day destination.
