Dylan “Envoy” Hannon has joined the Call of Duty League team Los Angeles Thieves.
Envoy is one of the most respected Call of Duty League players in the professional scene. He parted ways with OpTic Chicago a couple of days ago and announced his free agency before the new season. Today, he joined Los Angeles Thieves for the upcoming Call of Duty League season.
Dylan Hannon played for many different teams throughout his professional career. His journej began in 2015 as an amateur player and he quickly grinded his way to the top. Before joining the Call of Duty League franchise, he played for Geared 4 Gaming, Team JusTur, Fyra Gaming, Team WaR, Midnight Esports and most importantly Gen.G.
Envoy showed his potential under the Gen.G jersey and found himself a contract in the league. At first, he was a part of the Chicago Huntsmen squad, and after spending one year there, he joined Chicago’s new franchise, OpTic Chicago. Dylan played with the legends Seth “Scump” Abner and Matthew “FormaL” Piper last season.
After breaking his ties with OpTic, and announcing his free agency, all of the fans knew that Envoy was going to find himself a contract in the big league. According to today’s announcement, he will be playing for the Los Angeles Thieves.
Los Angeles Thieves failed to please their fans last season. The team tried many roster rotations throughout the season but almost none of them worked. In the end, the organization decided to rebuild their roster before the 2022 season of Call of Duty League.
Envoy stepped up with his “SMG Slayer” role. His dominance pleased almost every OpTic Chicago fan last season. From now on, Envoy’s new home will be Los Angeles and the Thieves fans will cheer for him. On the other hand, OpTic’s roster is still unclear.
