In a game like Lords of the Fallen, you don’t have to worry about the main story. If you want to fully enjoy the game and have the chance to defeat optional bosses, you have to dedicate yourself to the Lords of the Fallen side quests. In this article, therefore, we will provide you with a complete list and what you will need to do to complete them.
The Dark Crusader Mission
- How to start: Talk to Exacter Dunmire
- Location: Skyrest Bridge, Vestige of Ethryg
- Rewards: Dark Crusader’s Challenge Gesture
All you have to do to start this mission is to talk to the NPC Exacter Dunmire who is located at Skyrest Bridge. Once you have done this and exhausted all dialogue options, you will have completed this mission. However, the man will also tell you cleanse the five Radiant Beacons in Mournstead with your Umbral Lamp, so that you can stop Adyr’s threat.
Free the Tortured Prisoner
- How to start: Speak to the Tortured Prisoner
- Location: Skyrest Bridge, Vestige of Ethryg
- Rewards: Tortured Prisoner’s Head Cage, Queen Sophesia’s Ring, and unlock the Tortured Prisoner as a companion and Merchant

Save the Petrified Woman
- How to start: Save the woman
- Location: Forsaken Fen, Vestige of Valade
- Rewards: Wilmarc’s Catalyst and Pendant of Induration

Save the Blacksmith
- How to start: Find Gerlinde
- Location: Pilgrim’s Perch, Vestige of Blind Agatha
- Rewards: Unlock Gerlinde as a Blacksmith
Use the elevator that is in the opposite direction of the elevator. After dropping down and killing enemies to retrieve a key, continue exploring the mines. At a certain point, you will hear moans in the distance: it is Gerlinde who will be locked up in a cell. At this point, you can free her. Once you return to Skyrest Bridge where her shop will be, you can talk to her to start another of the Lords of the Fallen side quests.
Recover the Scattered Tablets
- How to start: Interact with bos Gerlinde and Sparky
- Location: Skyrest Bridge, Vestige of Ethryg
- Rewards: Crafter’s Essence
Once you have talked to the characters, you will have to look for the tablets. The Cracked Rune Tablet is found inside Fitzroy’s Gorge, the Chipped Rune Tablet is found in a house in Upper Calrath leading to Sunless Skein and the Rune Tablet is found in a chest inside the Tower of Penance.
Once you have found everything you need, return to Gerlinde and Sparke and decide which of the two to donate them to. If you choose Gerline, Sparky will no longer be present in the game as soon as you leave the area; if, however, you decide to give them to Sparky, Gerlinde will get angry and her items will cost double, but Sparky will give you the opportunity to runesmith the Vestiges.
A Captain’s Journey
- How to start: Go to the location where Stomund is usually located
- Location: Skyrest Bridge, Vestige of Ethryg
- Rewards: Stomund’s Flail, Stomund’s Gauntlet, Stomund’s Armor, Stomund’s Shield, and Banner of Our Immaculate Lady
This is definitely one of the most difficult and longest Lords of the Fallen side quests to complete. At a certain point in the story, Stomund will no longer be in his location but you will find a note that will tell you where to go. Once you reach the new location, you will have to continue until you reach the Manse of the Hallowed Brothers. Here you will meet Stomund again who will ask you to find two objects.
However, you will be able to continue and encounter this NPC again in the Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters. However, once you find everything you need you will learn that Stomund died impaled on the Banner of Our Immaculate Lady.
Brothers of Mournstead
- How to start: Interact with Drustan
- Location: Fitzroy’s Gorge, Vestige of Betrayed Eliard
- Rewards: Drustan’s Hammer, Drustan’s Glove, Drustan’s Garb, Boar’s Head Shield, Melchior’s Ring, and Wheezing
To complete this mission, you will have to help Drustan in different areas of the game. This NPC, in fact, is on the trail of his brother and this will take him to Bremis Castle. However, here he will be attacked by one of the local creatures and will die before being able to reunite with his brother.
The Man Who Seeks the Lamp
- How to start: Speak to Andreas of Ebb
- Location: Skyrest Bridge, Vestige of Ethryg
- Rewards: Andreas of Ebb’s Sword, Vestige Seed, Andreas of Ebb’s Book of Lineage, Andreas of Ebb’s Ring, and Andreas of Ebb’s Sleeves
You will not be able to start this mission if you have not first killed The Congregator of Flesh boss. Once this is done, Andreas will give you some essential items to continue. Return to him again after defeating the Spurned Progeny boss to receive more items. After this he will set a trap for you, without you knowing it.
At this point, return to him for one last task and then decide whether or not to give him his book back. If you decide to do so, Andreas will not be hostile; otherwise, after defeating the Lightreaper, he will attack you to get your lamp.
The Rejected Pilgrim
- How to start: Interact with Tehkh-Ihir
- Location: Pilgrim’s Perch from Skyrest Bridge, Vestige of Ethryg
- Rewards: Stick Weapon, Failed Pilgrim’s Gloves, Failed Pilgrim’s Garb, Failed Pilgrim’s Hood, and Failed Pilgrim’s Leggings
To complete this mission, you won’t have to do who knows what complex thing like in other Lords of the Fallen side quests. All you have to do is interact with this NPC whenever you get the chance. Below are the various locations:
