LCK’s legendary mid laner Heo “PawN” Won-seok has joined Liiv Sandbox coaching staff to help the team in the upcoming season.
PawN used to be one of the best mid laners in the world. Back in his prime, he has accomplished many things but had to retire after suffering mental mental issues as he was diagnosed with OCD. Today, he made his return to the scene as a coach. The legendary mid laner will coach Liiv SANDBOX, starting this season.
Back in 2013, PawN joined Samsung Blue and shortly after, he switched to Samsung’s other team, Samsung White. Alongside him, the legendary roster included Jang “Looper” Hyeong-seok, Choi “DanDy” In-kyu, Gu “imp” Seung-bin, and Cho “Mata” Se-hyeong. Samsung White won the Worlds trophy that year and PawN joined the Chinese giants EDward Gaming. After spending two years in China, he made his return to South Korea to compete for KT Rolster and KingZone DragonX, respectively.
His retirement announcement made many fans upset as the main reason behind his decision was mental health problems. However, he joined Riot Games as an analyst for six months and made his appearance on the scene. From now on, he will be an important piece of the Liiv SANDBOX coaching staff.
Liiv SANDBOX decided to rebuild their roster before the 2022 LCK season and signed many talented players. The most important piece of the roster is surely Clozer, who played for T1 before joining LSB. The team only kept their jungler from the previous roster and signed players to other positions.
Liiv Sandbox 2022 LCK roster
- Kim “Dove” Jae-yeon
- Kim “Croco” Dong-beom
- Lee “Clozer” Ju-hyeon
- Lee “Envyy” Myeong-joon
- Kim “Kael” Jin-hong
Clozer will be the biggest threat to their opponents as he is already a talented player but he will be better with PawN’s help during the season.
