Lies of P is a game rich in lore, with many characters that we can meet in our adventure. One of them is the White Lady. As often happens, it is the bosses who hide the most interesting lore behind them, and this boss is no different.
The Lies of P White Lady lore, in fact, is actually very interesting, especially if you love tormented characters. If this is the case, this character will not disappoint you at all. Are you ready to find out what her true story is and the reason for her actions? In this article, we explain everything in detail.
Who is the White Lady in Lies of P?
The White Lady is a mandatory mini-boss that all players will be forced to face as soon as they reach the stage on Rosa Isabelle Street. In fact, although it may give you the idea of being an optional boss and therefore of being able to get away without facing it, this is not the case at all. But who really is this character? Let’s find out together.
White Lasy’s real name is actually Patricia Corday. She is Adelina’s younger sister, another character you can meet during your adventure in Lies of P. Both sisters were driven by the same passion: acting. In fact, their dream was to become actresses in the city of Krat (where the game is set).
However, little Patricia’s career was nipped in the bud when a poison irreparably damaged her voice. The girl did not accept the fate that befell her and she went into a rage. As a result, she became a stalker and took the name White Lady. However, the bad news wasn’t over for her yet.
In fact, after the revolt that took place in the city of Krat, in which the puppets rebelled against their masters, Patricia believed that her sister was killed by one of them. For this reason, in memory of her sister, she decided to set up a stage, setting it up with the parts of the puppets that she encountered on her journey.
Her presence in the book
What we have told you is what can be deduced from the events that happen in Lies of P. Obviously, however, the character it refers to is a little different. In fact, if we take into consideration the book written by Collodi, we will soon discover that there is no such character. However, that doesn’t mean that the developers didn’t take inspiration from an existing character.
In fact, as many have reported, White Lady is practically based on the character Pigeon, who is present in the book. The role of this character is to accompany Pinocchio to the seashore where Geppetto had been spotted but, in the meantime, had been swallowed by the Terrible Dogfish.
How come we think this? Just look at the way she was designated White Lady in Lies of P. In fact, her costume is totally white and her mask is made of feathers. Consequently, the book’s reference to Pigeon is more than plausible.
