The magical LEGO adventure will bring all eight Harry Potter films, two complete games, and previously released DLC to Nintendo’s latest console.
Warner Bros. Games, TT Games, and the LEGO Group have announced that the LEGO Harry Potter Collection is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on October 16, 2026.
The announcement was made during the Back to Hogwarts 2026 showcase, with pre-orders now available for the collection. The Switch 2 release combines LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 and LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7, alongside previously released downloadable content.
LEGO Harry Potter Collection Covers All Eight Films
Developed by TT Games, the LEGO Harry Potter Collection offers a humorous take on Harry Potter’s journey from his first year at Hogwarts through the final battle against Lord Voldemort.
The collection includes LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4, which draws inspiration from the first four films: Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
Players can explore Hogwarts, learn spells, brew potions, solve puzzles, and experience key moments from Harry’s early years through the distinctive style of LEGO games.
The second title, LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7, covers the final part of the story. It features content based on Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Parts 1 and 2.
Together, the two games cover the entire eight-film Harry Potter saga.
Previously Released DLC Included
The Nintendo Switch 2 collection will also include previously released DLC packs, giving players access to additional characters and spells.
The Character Pack includes characters such as Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Luna Lovegood, Peeves, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Rowena Ravenclaw, and Salazar Slytherin, alongside alternate versions of several familiar characters.
The Spell Pack adds additional spells, including Cantis, Densaugeo, Ducklifors, Melofors, and Tentaclifors.
The collection will be available in both physical and digital formats on Nintendo Switch 2. The physical edition will include both games on a single key card.
