LEGO® Fortnite Odyssey is getting a major boost with the arrival of NINJAGO: Rise of the Ninja, launching December 11. Players will head to NINJAGO Island to train as Ninjas, unlock elemental powers, and prepare for a growing threat that will continue in a second NINJAGO update coming in 2026.
This update brings story content, new abilities, fresh locations, and iconic characters from the NINJAGO universe, all fully playable in LEGO Fortnite for the first time.
Become an Elemental Ninja
Players begin their journey at the Monastery, your new home base on NINJAGO Island. From there, you’ll travel across the map to three Sanctums, each focused on a different ELEMENTAL skill:
- ICE Sanctum
- LIGHTNING Sanctum
- EARTH Sanctum
By training at each location, you’ll master powerful ELEMENTAL techniques and sharpen your abilities for the final confrontation waiting at the end of the storyline.
Along the way, you’ll also learn Spinjitzu, one of NINJAGO’s signature abilities. New weapons — Nunchucks and Shurikens, give you even more tools to take down hostile enemies, including fierce dragon foes roaming the island.
New Outfits and Life-Size Forms Arrive
The update brings several NINJAGO heroes into Fortnite:
- Zane
- Jay
- Cole
- Kai (included in the NINJAGO LEGO Pass)
These characters appear in full life-size battle-ready forms for the first time. Each Outfit comes with Fortnite-style variants that can be used outside LEGO modes, giving players a fresh look across game types.
NINJAGO LEGO Pass Rewards
Purchasing the NINJAGO LEGO Pass instantly unlocks the Kai Outfit. As you progress, you’ll earn three premium Builds themed around NINJAGO architecture and design.
The Pass also includes a selection of Ninja-inspired Decor Bundles, with both free and premium cosmetics available to customize your world.
Important Note Before Launch
When the update goes live, all players will automatically start on NINJAGO Island. To avoid losing any vehicles or items in transit, Fortnite recommends logging off at one of your Villages before the update releases.
LEGO Fortnite Odyssey continues to evolve, and NINJAGO: Rise of the Ninja is shaping up to be one of its biggest updates yet. Get ready to train, battle, and rise to the challenge, a much larger fight is coming in 2026. Stay tuned to Gamelevate for more updates on Fortnite news.
