The South Korean team, KT Rolster, have announced the arrivals of Moon “Cuzz” Woo-chan, and Kim “Aiming” Ha-ram.
After an unsuccessful year, KT Rolster decided to rebuild their roster and parted ways with Kang “Blank” Sun-gu, Kim “Dove” Jae-yeon, Son “Ucal” Woo-hyeon, Jang “Zzus” Joon-soo, and Choi “Doran” Hyeon-joon. The South Korean team filled their jungler and marksman positions first. According to the announcement, they have signed Cuzz from T1, and Aiming from Bilibili Gaming.
Cuzz joined T1 before the 2020 season and he was the main jungler for the team. He had a solid performance in the opening split of 2020 but failed to keep up his performance in Summer. As a result, T1 signed the young talent Moon “Oner” Hyeon-joon to strengthen their rotation. After some time, Oner showed his potential and got the jersey from Cuzz. It was almost certain that Cuzz was going to leave the team.
Aiming has spent his 2020 season competing in LPL. Earlier in his career, he played for T1, and Afreeca Freecs before joining KT Rolster in 2019. He played for KT in 2019 and decided to join Bilibili Gaming in 2020. BLG had two unsuccessful splits in 2020 and as the year came to an end, they parted ways with their South Korean marksman.
KT Rolster failed to make it to the playoff bracket for two splits in a row last season. Even though they had talented players like Ucal, Blank, and Doran, the team secured six and seven wins consecutively in the last two splits.
According to the contract database, they now have three players filling the marksman position. They will either have two subs or part ways with their other players, Oh “Noah” Hyeon-taek, and Park “5kid” Jeong-hyeon. On top of that, the team will announce their mid and top players in the upcoming days.
