JanduSoft has revealed three previously unannounced games ahead of the next Steam Next Fest, bringing its total showcase lineup to eight titles.
The event will run from October 19 to 26, giving PC players the opportunity to try demos of several upcoming releases and get an early look at JanduSoft’s growing catalogue.
Alongside the newly revealed Ariadne’s Tale, Cards After Midnight, and TREMEN, the publisher will showcase previously announced titles including Dark Rail, Codex Lost 2, Olympus Rangers, The Transference, and Dark Alley.
Here’s everything JanduSoft is bringing to Steam Next Fest.
Ariadne’s Tale
Developer: JanduSoft
Release: Q4 2026
Ariadne’s Tale puts a first-person spin on one of Greek mythology’s most famous stories.
Players take on the role of Ariadne, daughter of King Minos, as she enters the Labyrinth and attempts to forge her own path. The game combines puzzle-solving and platforming as players navigate dangerous environments, escape with Theseus, and attempt to avoid the Minotaur.
The Labyrinth is not simply a backdrop, with players needing to overcome its challenges before they can make their escape.
Cards After Midnight
Developer: JanduSoft & Boomfire Games
Release: Q1 2027
Cards After Midnight combines roguelike mechanics, card-based gameplay, and a werewolf transformation mechanic.
A deadly curse dictates the game’s day-and-night cycle. At midnight, players become a savage werewolf, while daylight brings them back as an armed survivor.
There’s another problem: the villagers have left their homes to hunt them.
Players will need to navigate the changing rules of the curse while attempting to survive long enough to uncover what lies behind it.
TREMEN
Developer: Red Meat Entertainment
Release: 2027
Fans of old-school first-person shooters may want to keep an eye on TREMEN.
Developed by Red Meat Entertainment and based on the graphic novels by Pim Bos, TREMEN combines modern visuals with classic FPS gameplay. Players will fight their way through a brutalist concrete landscape overrun by mutants who have enslaved humanity.
The focus is firmly on fast-paced combat, relentless enemies, and keeping the action moving.
Dark Rail
Developer: Steam Veil Games
Release: Q4 2026
Dark Rail blends turn-based strategy, management mechanics, and roguelike elements in a grim industrial setting.
Players take control of the Inquisition and attempt to maintain order in an industrial city on the edge of an empire. Their train acts as a mobile base of operations, with prisoner shipment quotas requiring players to hunt heretics and battle horrifying creatures.
Managing supplies and dealing with potential revolts will be just as important as surviving encounters, forcing players to balance the needs of the city against the increasingly desperate situation surrounding it.
Codex Lost 2
Developer: Freemana
Release: 2027
Codex Lost 2 is a dark fantasy Souls-like built around exploration, challenging combat, and a mysterious world.
Its expansive areas give players plenty of room to explore while a selection of weapons and spells provides different approaches to combat. The game aims to combine the demanding encounters associated with the Souls-like genre with an atmosphere built around mystery and discovery.
Olympus Rangers
Developer: Mechano
Release: Q4 2026
Olympus Rangers puts players in control of their own combat team.
The game allows players to create and manage a roster before sending their fighters into multiple combat modes. Team composition and management will play a central role, while an online mode gives players the opportunity to test their squads against other competitors.
The objective is straightforward: build a team capable of reaching the top.
The Transference
Developer: Kuraishisama
Release: October 29, 2026
The Transference takes players to northern Andalusia in the late 1990s for a narrative escape-room thriller.
The game begins with a disturbing situation: players wake up trapped inside their own home, with the doors and windows boarded up from the inside.
Things become even stranger when they discover that they aren’t alone.
Players will need to solve puzzles inspired by Spanish culture while exploring the house and uncovering a web of family secrets and betrayals. The central mystery revolves around who locked the protagonist inside — and what they wanted to hide.
Dark Alley
Developer: CheesecakeGames
Release: Q4 2026
Dark Alley follows British detective Bennett as he investigates the disappearance of a fellow detective in Kyoto.
The investigation takes players through temples, narrow backstreets, hidden clubs, and traditional ryokans as Bennett attempts to uncover what happened.
The Yakuza are part of the investigation, but they’re only one piece of a much larger mystery. As Bennett digs deeper, the case takes him far beyond the criminal organisation he initially suspected.
