After failing to make it to the LCS playoffs in 2022, Immortals signed the former TSM bot laner Edward “Tactical” Ra for their 2023 roster.
Immortals had a rough year in 2022. The team looked uncoordinated from the first day. They went 5-13, finishing LCS 2022 Spring Season in 10th place. LCS 2022 Summer Season wasn’t different. They built a 4-14 record to finish the season in 9th place. After these disappointing seasons, the organization had to make a change. Immortals signed Tactical, a bot laner with the potential to carry games. Tactical will compete in the IMT bot lane together with Turkish support player Kadir “Fleshy” Kemiksiz.
Edward “Tactical” Ra is a talented bot lane player with the ability to make clutch plays. He has a solid overall performance. Years before he became IMT Tactical, he was an academy player. He began his journey to the LCS stage in December 2018 when he was signed by TSM for their academy team. After a year of decent performance at TSM Academy, he joined TL Academy in December 2019. His carry-oriented playstyle was a great match for TL. Therefore, after playing for 4 months and 15 days in the academy team, Tactical was promoted to the main LCS roster of Team Liquid in February 2020. At this point, Tactical’s star started to shine bright. He had a great year in TL finishing the 2020 LCS Summer in first place with a record of 15-3.
However, he parted ways with TL in 2021 and joined TSM. The team didn’t perform well in the LCS season. As a consequence, the team decided to bench Tactical. He was also relegated to the TSM Academy roster for a month. Later on, he came back to the main roster but the team wasn’t on the same page. TSM finished the 2022 LCS Spring in 9th place with a record of 5-13. Finally, Tactical signed the contract with IMT with the hopes of having a comeback season.
