Immortals, a North American esports organization, has secured a three-year partnership with Bitstamp, a cryptocurrency exchange.
Founded in 2015, Immortals is a US-based esports and gaming organization that competes across multiple esports titles, including League of Legends (LCS), VALORANT, Overwatch, and Wild Rift. They are dedicated to using gaming as a connective force that builds lasting legacies among its players, staff, and the broader gaming community.
Bitstamp will become Immortals official cryptocurrency exchange, as well as a ‘Founding Partner’. The two organizations will collaborate on a series of activities, including the creation of a brand-new content creator team.
“It’s a priority for us as an organization to show up for our community and bring them value through innovative partnerships like this one with Bitstamp, the longest-running crypto exchange in the world.”
Jordan Sherman, the Immortals’ CEO.
“This partnership will further enhance the Immortals fan experience with real, tangible benefits that connect the crypto and gaming worlds.”
Both organizations will work together on three large-scale initiatives during their partnership. One such activity is Team Bitstamp. This will be a team of content creators that will serve as Bitstamp ambassadors, as well as, create giveaways and streams aimed at promoting and educating fans on cryptocurrency. This is a similar activity to the one that was established during Immortals’ recent partnership with Fetch.ai.
The second activity will be known as the ‘Immortals Invasion.’ This will be a set of activities planned to take place at the 2022 League of Legends World Championship, which is being held in North America. This will include in-person events, activities, vlogs, and other types of content. In addition, Immortals and Bitstamp have announced a rewards program for LCS viewers called the LCS Trigger Program.
“Our partnership with Immortals is an extension of our mission to empower our customers by creating a more authentic experience between crypto and gaming.”
Bobby Zagotta, CEO of Bitstamp USA.
“The esports community is diverse, passionate, and highly attuned to the digital evolution. It is among the first to explore the integration of digital assets within their industry.”
The partnership between these two organizations will allow Immortals to consider future crypto integrations and NFT opportunities, all the while educating and providing new and exciting events and activities for their fans.
