The International Esports Federation (IESF) and the North America Scholastic Esports Federation (NASEF) have announced the launch of an online esports course.
With the support of Busan Metropolitan City, the organizations hope that the course will help streamline organizational structures and educate IESF’s members.
“We are so excited to launch this project with the NASEF, and we look forward to a series of opportunities to educate and empower our members by collaborating with NASEF to host workshops at the upcoming World Esports Championships Finals in Bali this December,” commented Boban Totovski, Secretary General at IESF.
For esports coaches, educators, and enthusiasts, the Basics for Esports course is available on NASEF x Skillshot Academy. IESF hopes this course will help mentor and encourage the esports community to achieve a united and cohesive ecosystem to develop sustainable gaming.
The course will cover various topics from Esports 10, coaching, managing and leveling up an esports team, and planning a live esports competition.
IESF and NASEF’s partnership began in 2021, with NASEF overseeing all of the education programs IESF. The next project for the two will be a series of workshops at the World Esports Championships Finals in Bali, Indonesia, from the 1st to the 12th of December.
Through the partnership between IESF and NASEF, with the support of Busan Metropolitan City, coaches, mentors, and esports enthusiasts have the opportunity to learn and develop skills to grow and evolve an esports team.
