Zdravets “Hylissang” Iliev Galabov has extended his contract with the LEC representatives, Fnatic, for two years.
Fnatic have accomplished many things with Hylissang on their roster and the team managed to reach the LEC Finals last split. The Bulgarian support player’s impact throughout the season was phenomenal and the organization decided to renew his contract. According to the latest announcement, Hylissang will stick with the team for two more years.
Hylissang started his professional gaming career back in 2014 under the Unicorns of Love roof. He played for UoL for three years and joined Fnatic in 2018. Back in the day, Hyli had a huge impact on the bottom side of the map with his duo Rekkles.
Since 2018, Fnatic have accomplished many things. First, the team won the LEC title and reached MSI Semifinals. In the same year, they played against Invictus Gaming in the Worlds Finals. Hylissang was a huge part of the roster.
Hylissang in 2021
Even though the roster has changed a lot since then, Hyli has always been their consistent support player. This year, they had a great synergy with Upset. The bottom duo played a great role in Fnatic’s LEC Finals journey. However, they could not carry their team in the final stage against MAD Lions.
Keeping Hylissang within the organization is a huge deal considering his quality. The Bulgarian support player is considered as one of the best in his role and having him on the roster means pressure on both bottom and mid lanes.
Fnatic have qualified for Worlds 2021 Group Stage this year. We will watch them play against the best teams in the world right now. Hyli’s contract extension may give him a confidence and morale boost in the tournament. The group stage starts on 11 October and Fnatic will play against the play-in team on that day.
