The second half of patch 2.2 featuring Hu Tao’s banner is about to go live.
The ongoing character banner featuring Childe is about to conclude in Genshin Impact, and fans are gearing up for the next one. Fortunately, we already have details about the following banner, which will feature Hu Tao as the summonable 5-star character. Additionally, Thoma is making his debut and will be summonable on the banner. The remaining sub-featured characters on the banner are Sayu and Diona.
The banner is called Moment of Bloom, and here are all the featured characters summonable on it:
- Hu Tao (5-Star)
- Thoma (4-Star)
- Diona (4-Star)
- Sayu (4-Star)
Should you pull on Hu Tao’s banner?
Hu Tao is arguably one of the best DPS characters in the game. Although she has a low attack stat at early levels, she becomes a monster upon reaching level 40 and above. Hu Tao’s high critical hit rate scaling makes her an ideal damage dealer capable of clearing every content in the game with ease. Furthermore, she is impactful even at C0 and doesn’t need her Constellation unlocked to shine.
Thoma is a brand new character debuting on the banner. He is a 4-star unit that uses Pyro element and Polearm as his choice of weapon. Thoma is a support unit that excels at setting up allies by applying Pyro and providing a shield. Overall, he is a decent unit that is especially good for low-level players.
Diona and Sayu are the remaining two sub-featured units summonable on the banner. While Diona is a great Cyro element user, Sayu is relatively underwhelming. However, Sayu was also recently released, so if you are looking to unlock her Constellation, this can be an excellent opportunity to do so.
Apart from the Hu Tao banner, a new weapon banner featuring Staff of Homa and Elegy for the end is also coming to the game. Staff of Homa, in particular, is an excellent weapon for Hu Tao and can significantly boost her overall damage potential.
