Challenge tokens were introduced to League of Legends by Riot Games in Patch 12.9, as another way to track your progress in the game, and as a grindable customization aspect for your profile.
The player base was split on whether they enjoyed this new feature or hated it, as some thought it would be another great way to display your skill, but others believed it would create more rifts between teammates, enemies and players in general, which was completely unnecessary.

How you can Remove League of Legends Challenge Tokens
If you do want to remove the Challenge tokens from your profile, we hate to break it to you, but there is no built-in way within League of Legends itself. This sucks, right?
Well, fear not; we have a solution for you, but it does involve third-party software, so we are not telling you to use it; download it at your own risk!
A fantastic GitHub user named Maciej Gorczyca created an open-source web program that you can use to remove your League of Legends Challenge tokens, and we have heard from reliable sources that this works, so if you do give it a go, let us know!

Other players have claimed that they have been able to remove the Challenge tokens in League of Legends without downloading a third-party software by resetting their nickname or uninstalling and reinstalling the game, but we have no proof of these methods working.

How to change League of Legends Challenge Tokens
Whilst you may not want to try any of these methods, you might still be unhappy with the Challenge tokens that you have equipped on your profile, but here is how you can change the ones you have equipped into better ones.
You can display three at a time, but there is a simple way to get the rarer Challenge tokens displayed on your profile, so next time you load into a game of League of Legends, your enemies will be scared of you, and your allies will adore you!
- Press the Summoner Icon in the top right-hand corner of your client
- Select the Tokens tab
- Scroll through and find the tokens you want to display
