With both ranked and casual, here is how to level up 2XKO progression for both.
Riot Games’ unlock system has some players confused about how to earn XP.
But how do you grind levels in this game, and what do they earn?
Level Up 2XKO
Firstly, in order to play Ranked, you must have a player level of at least three. To level up 2XKO player stats, we just need to play matches online.

It does not matter if we win or lose; we just need to keep grinding. However, levelling the profile is quite quick and should only take a few matches to get to level 3. Although they are quick, I have not seen any gain from leveling up your profile.

I suppose it’s just a way of gauging how much time a player has spent on online matches. But to level up in 2XKO ranked level is a much simpler yet harder story.
Once you reach profile level 3, you can enter ranked lobbies, which will let you play against fighters of a similar rank. Ranks go from Aspirant, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Emerald, Diamond, Master, Grand Master and finally Challenger.

Although only the top 100 get to Challenger, so do not concern yourself if you never hit that! Also your rank is slightly determined by your casual matches and placement matches. These are the 5 games you need to play in order to be given a rank.
However, I lost all my placements in beta and got Gold 1, and yet after winning all of them now, I got given Gold 3. Because the hidden MR system that determines your rank is at play when you do those casual matches.
From there to the Level Up 2XKO rank stage, you need to climb the 3 tiers of each rank to gain the next tier. So Gold 1, 2 and then 3 turn into Platinum. Win a ranked match and you gain points towards the next stage, but lose one and you will lose points.
Character Mastery
Although Rank is pretty simple, it is just right now a bragging mechanic and for playing similar-level fighters. You gain nothing from achieving a high rank apart from the XP and Battle Pass progression you unlock along the way.
However, you would naturally achieve champion mastery, which, like LOL, reflects your proficiency with a certain character. Each champion has their own objectives to fulfil during a match, like landing a certain hit or just straight up winning!

Doing this repeatedly earns you a bronze, silver and gold tier of that mission. Once completing any mission, you gain a mastery level for that champ. In summary, to level up, 2XKO champions keep fulfilling missions mid-match for that fighter.
Once you reach a certain level of mastery, you can now purchase specific character-related items. For example, with a mastery 5 Teemo, I can buy his shoes! Although I can does not mean I will, or indeed is it worth it.

There are up to 100 levels of mastery to grind, and do not worry about the timer; master levels do not reset! These will often grant Avatar outfits, chromas, titles, player cards and taunts.
But even though I got to his level, I still have to pay out with credits. So really I just end up not getting anything because I am saving up for a fighter!
I mean, if you want your avatar to have the Teemo hat, then be my guest; it just seems really not worth the hassle.
However, to each their own; you are allowed with your freedom of choice to make financially inadvisable decisions every day!
Overall, just keep playing matches, and you will level up 2XKO systems fast without realising.
