FIFA’s Ultimate Team is the most played mode in the game. In it, players try to build up the best team they can to go up against other competitors. Creating a good squad in Ultimate Team takes time and requires lots of packs which contain player cards. The packs are sold in exchange for real money or in-game currency, but there are other ways to gain them free. Here’s how you can get more packs in FUT.
Squad Battles
Squad Battles is a single player mode in Ultimate Team where you play against other community members’ squads around the world, choosing which team you want to play against and the difficulty you want to play on. Every difficulty level provides you different points based on the match results and these results determine your place on the leaderboard. You are rewarded with decent packs every Monday based on your placement. The leaderboard resets at the end of each week.
Division Rivals
Division Rivals is the main ranked mode in FIFA Ultimate Team. Players face each other, test their skills and squads to climb in the league system. Similar to Squad Battles, Division Rivals awards you with multiple packs and coins according to your division and the points you earned in a week. Thursday is the most loved day of FIFA players, because it’s the day they obtain these rewards.
FUT Champions
Also known as Weekend League, this is the most competitive mode in Ultimate Team. Thousands of players who get enough points from their Division Rivals games during a week battle each other on the weekend. FUT Champions’ games are more tense than any other games in Ultimate Mode, therefore its bounties are more generous. However, they are hard to grab since you have to play against better players. Weekend League’s rewards are distributed on the same day as Division Rivals ones, which is Thursday.
Objectives
Objectives are another way for players to grind for some packs, cards and other in-game rewards. For several years, EA Sports has been bringing Season Objectives to Ultimate Mode to keep the mode with fresh contents. There are daily, weekly and specific quests in Objectives which offer in-game exp. Players can get packs from those quests or seasonal milestones with the experience they earned.
Draft
Draft is such a great way to get more packs in Ultimate Team. However, you need to be a decent player to benefit from it. Requiring some coins or FUT points for the entrance, Draft mode allows players to establish a new squad with random cards to compete with other players who create a team in the same way. In Draft mode, you can play up to four matches and you’ll earn rewards full of packs based on your performance. If you think you’re good at FIFA, Draft mode is the best option for you in the way of building your team in Ultimate Mode.
Squad Building Challenges (SBC)
Do not sell your unused cards: use them in SBCs instead and get awarded with packs. If you consider joining FIFA Ultimate Team craziness, you’re going to spend a lot of time in the SBC section. SBCs challenge you to build a squad according to requirements and give you some packs or player cards when you finish it.
