Fifa players are always on the hunt for more coins. Whether they’re for entering drafts, picking up packs or buying players from the market, coins are what make the FUT world go around, and often what separates the top teams from the rest.
Between the Team of the Year and Team of the Season, we’re beginning to enter that period of a Fifa game’s lifespan that many refer to as the game starting to ‘die’. However, this is also a time of great opportunity for those looking to get Fifa coins without having to put in the hard yards. Join us at Gamelevate as we run you through the easiest way to get coins in Fifa 23.
Trading
Any novice stockbroker will tell you that less competition on the market means more opportunity. And that is certainly the case for Fifa 23 right now. With fewer players in the game, prices for players on the marketplace have already begun to drop dramatically.
Packs are also being opened less, meaning there are fewer special items floating about in-game. This means, if you’re lucky enough to own any promo cards, their rarity has increased exponentially, meaning their value has already begun to rocket.
Exploiting The Silvers
Here’s a trick for you. If you’re starting with a budget of anything north of 100,000 coins (easily achieved with just a quick grind on Squad Battles), head over to a site like FUTBin and sort through all the Silver cards in-game worth around 2,000-3,000.
Checking their price graph will give eagle-eyed players the opportunity to identify some potentially lucrative sniping filters.
Silvers fluctuate in price more than any other type of card on the back of requirements for Squad-Building Challenges and Marquee Matchups. We’ve seen some silvers fetch over 5,000 coins on the marketplace before, so take the time to identify which cards could see their value shoot up in the coming days and weeks.

SBC Candidates
On the subject of SBCs, Fifa 23 is full of cards players solely buy to throw into their submitted squads.
Players with overall ratings in the mid-80s fluctuate the most when it comes to this, which provides a great opportunity to make some extra coins.
Now, timing is key when it comes to this strategy. Buy your 80+ rated cards on Thursday or Friday when EA supply more of them across Ultimate Team and their price is lower. EA usually reserve their big SBCs for early in the week, which is naturally the best time to sell. Due to the sudden increase in demand, we’ve seen these players fetch 5k, sometimes even 10k, more than their value.
82+s
Trading with 82 OVRs seems to have become Fifa 23’s ‘thing’. With just how many SBCs EA have continued to pump out over the course of the game’s time on the shelves, these cards have become invaluable for filling out their requirements.
Cards that were once around 750-800 coins are now consistently worth anywhere in excess of 1,500.
Again though, their value does tend to drop right before the weekend so keep an eye out for any potential bargains that you can flip once the latest SBC drops.
