The CS2 text bug has become very annoying for gamers as it restricts them from seeing the panel clearly.
CS2 recently launched for a bigger audience; now everybody is in line to play the game.
However, it is still in beta, so there are errors, bugs, and all that. Valve still needs more time to figure everything out.
Currently, more players are trying out the upcoming game. This way, they will monitor all the major bugs before officially releasing the game.
The CS2 text bug is one of those annoying errors that lowers the gaming experience.
What is the CS2 text bug?
The CS2 text bug refers to an error that blocks players’ vision on certain things, like the health and money values on the HUD.
These values are replaced with words like #gameui or #sfui_steam_ that don’t make sense.
How to fix CS2 text bug
There isn’t an official fix for the CS2 text bug, but there are two things that you can try to get rid of the issue.
Here are those two fixes:
Delete Text Editors or Radar Map Editors
One of the users on Steam forums said that they fixed their issue by remove their text editor and radar map editor.
Apparently, CS2 text bug is caused by these external editors, and if you remove them, you will get rid of the issue.
“Hello, fixed mine today. If u had a text editor/radar map editor you need to remove them for CS2 because they dont work, you can find this where u downloaded csgo and go into resources and delete the folder with the custom radar maps, and the text editor was in my launch options so just take i out. If not in launch options it will be somewhere in your cfg file,” user said.
Report the issue to Valve
Valve is currently working on improving the game and they want players to report any issues they find.
You can send Valve an email with the title “CS2LT Bug-” and then include a brief explanation of the bug.
In this case, you can set the title to “CS2LT Bug – Text Bugs” and send it to “email@example.com.”
