Cheats in a custom game of VALORANT are exactly what you’d think they are: ways of playing a custom game outside of the regular rules of a regular match of VALORANT, but these are quite hard to turn on, so here is how!

How to Enable Cheats in a VALORANT Custom Game
You need to make sure you turn them on before you get into a custom game, so if you have loaded up on Breeze, Split or Icebox, then we recommend exiting the game and following these steps before you load up again!
- Click Play and Select Custom Game from the VALORANT home screen
- Select the map you would like to practice on
- Press the Options button and turn Allow Cheats on
- Start the game and select your agent
- Once you are in-game, open your settings
- Select Cheats and allow whatever ones you want!

This is pretty simple, and we recommend using cheats in custom games to practice before you go into rated games! This could be to practice lineups with infinite abilities, pause the match timer so you can explore the map, or even get cool angles of the map that you’ve never seen before!

What do VALORANT Custom Game Cheats do?
Cheats in VALORANT custom games allow us to practice a lot of things, specifically lineups and setups for various agents.
This is especially prevalent for Sentinels such as Killjoy and Cypher who need to setup correctly, but if you mess up in a rated game your team will hate you! We recommend using these cheats to help practice in custom games, mainly with the Ghost Mode cheat and Infinite Abilities cheat.
Another good example of using custom game cheats is to use it for post-plant lineups. Controllers are great for this, such as Viper and Brimstone, but also some Initiators, such as Sova and KAY/O can always use the practice in a custom game!
The last thing you want is to have to wait for your ability to recharge just to practice firing it again, and to have to walk around the map to get to wherever you need, so use these cheats to help you practice a lot more efficiently!
