Players looking to jump into the newest Phantom Thieves’ adventure will want to know how long is Persona 5 Tactica.
Before they commit, players will want to know how much time the game expects of them.
The original Persona 5 was a 100-hour RPG. Further, that time only got longer with the Persona 5 Royal re-release which added another sizable chunk of endgame content.
How long is Persona 5 Tactica
Luckily for most, Persona 5 Tactica is significantly shorter than its predecessors. Like Persona 5 Strikers, its status as a spin-off means that it’s a shorter self-contained story than the original epic length.
The main story takes roughly 24 hours to complete. For a completionist that wants to finish all side missions and obtain all content, it will take about 38 hours total.
However, players should note that there is a small expectation for a bit of grinding. The game can be tricky with just the main story rewards in terms of EXP and money. This is especially the case if the player has any aspirations to full out the compendium.
Thus, Persona 5 Tactica is roughly 30 hours long for most players to enjoy the returning Phantom Thieves, all voiced by their original cast.
What is the Repaint Your Heart DLC time to beat?
Repaint Your Heart is the Day 1 DLC side story for the base game.
In it, Joker joins forces with Goro Akechi (aka Crow) and Kasumi Yoshizawa in a short campaign that takes place before the events of Tactica.
This side bit of content doesn’t have any grinding. This means that players can quickly speed through the main story, since there aren’t any real side missions or extra content aside from short conversations.
As a result, the Repaint Your Heart DLC will only be about five or six hours long.
