Blackbird Interactive and Gearbox Publishing are excited to announce that Homeworld 3‘s latest addition, the War Games mode, is now available for a demo on both Steam and the Epic Games Store.
When can you play the Homeworld 3 demo?
Starting from February 5th at 6pm GMT / 7pm CET until February 12th at 6pm GMT / 7pm CET, players globally can delve into the innovative roguelike experience of Homeworld 3’s War Games during the Next Fest event.
This new mode extends the game’s replayability beyond the campaign, blending Homeworld’s classic real-time strategy gameplay with elements inspired by roguelikes. Whether playing solo or cooperatively with up to three players, commanders will navigate their fleets through three randomized combat challenges.
Success in managing fleets and completing objectives rewards players with Artifacts, enhancing their ships. Additionally, players can earn experience to unlock more artifacts and starting fleets, ensuring a consistently fresh challenge.
The War Games mode in Homeworld 3 will continue to evolve post-launch, with regular free content updates and the option for premium content, including three paid DLC expansions available through the Year One Pass.
