The LCS 2022 Summer Playoffs are at the door as the regular season has come to an end. Some teams have dramatically lost their chance to compete in the upcoming tournament to possibly represent the region at Worlds 2022. Here is the LCS 2022 Championship Bracket!
The regular season of this split’s challenge was nothing but pure entertainment and competitiveness. Last split’s surprise champions, Evil Geniuses, managed to complete the regular season at the top of the standings and 100 Thieves followed them from behind. The format of the tournament is pretty simple. This year, it will be played under the name of Championship, but it will be the playoffs of the split. The first two seeded teams of the regular season, Evil Geniuses and 100 Thieves, will start their Championship journey from the second round of the upper bracket. The teams that have ended their regular season run between the third and the sixth seeds will face each other. The third team, Team Liquid, will face the sixth, FlyQuest, and the fourth and the fifth-seeded teams, Counter Logic Gaming and Cloud9 will be playing against each other. Cloud9 earned the fifth spot by winning the tiebreaker match against FlyQuest and dodged Team Liquid. However, Counter Logic Gaming’s performance has also been on point since the start of the split.
The LCS 2022 Summer Split Playoffs, Championship, will decide North America’s representatives at Worlds 2022. The grand finalists will attend the main event, while the third team of the tournament will start their Worlds run from the Play-ins.
