Step into the chaos before the game begins.
NACON has just released a free digital comic book for its upcoming third-person action-adventure title, Hell is Us. The 16-page comic is available now at nacongaming.com, giving fans an early look into the game’s dark and mysterious world.
The comic acts as a prequel to the story of Rémi, the main character. It shows what drove him to leave his role as a peacekeeper and sneak back into Hadea, the war-torn country of his birth. This isolated nation is collapsing under civil war and haunted by supernatural threats. Armed with special weapons, Rémi will need to survive deadly encounters with monsters tied to ancient relics.
The book was made in collaboration with Dead Good Comics, featuring artwork by Andrea Scalmazzi and Antonio Antro, and a story by Stu Taylor. The cover was created by Yanick Paquette and Marcelo Maiolo, with creative direction from Jonathan Jacques-Belletête, Hell is Us’ director.
Stu Taylor shared:
“Dead Good Comics is honored to bring this dark and powerful world to life in comic form.”
Jonathan Jacques-Belletête added:
“This comic gives players a deeper look at Rémi’s journey. It’s the perfect lead-in to the full game and the upcoming demo.”
