Rogue Snail reveals dark fantasy rooted in Brazilian history with Cursed War expansion coming in 2026
Hell Clock, the intense new Action RPG roguelike from Rogue Snail and Mad Mushroom, is now available on Steam for $19.99. With fast-paced combat, deep progression systems, and a haunting setting inspired by real events, Hell Clock delivers a fresh experience for fans of games like Path of Exile and Hades.
Brazilian History Meets Roguelike Intensity
Developed by a remote Brazilian team, Hell Clock reimagines the War of Canudos through the lens of dark fantasy. Players descend into the depths of Hell, battling demonic forces tied to Brazil’s past, present, and future. Each run is a race against the ticking Hell Clock, with time-limited action and ever-evolving builds.
The launch version features a full three-act campaign and the Beta of “Ascension,” a high-difficulty endgame mode. Looking ahead, Hell Clock Cursed War, a major expansion, is planned for 2026.
The Supporter’s Edition ($29.99) includes the base game, future expansion, original soundtrack, and exclusive “Step into Hell” visual effects.
