The upcoming Heartsong Seraphine skin will support Riot Games’ charitable efforts, with the developer directing 100 percent of its proceeds from the campaign to the Social Impact Fund.
Seraphine is getting a new reason to sing in League of Legends Patch 26.17. Riot Games has announced that 100 percent of its proceeds from the upcoming Heartsong Seraphine skin will be directed to the Riot Games Social Impact Fund.
The skin will be available from Aug. 26 through Sept. 23, giving players the opportunity to add a new cosmetic to their collection while supporting Riot’s ongoing philanthropic initiatives.
Heartsong Seraphine Supports Charity
According to Riot, all of its proceeds from Heartsong Seraphine will go toward the Social Impact Fund. However, this does not mean that 100 percent of the skin’s retail price will be donated.
Instead, Riot’s proceeds from the campaign will be directed to the fund, with an additional 2x match increasing the overall contribution.
The Social Impact Fund has been part of Riot’s charitable efforts since 2019. The fund operates as a separate entity from Riot and works with ImpactAssets to make direct investments in organizations around the world.
This structure allows Riot to support international nonprofits and direct funding toward communities across different regions.
League of Legends Players Help Direct Charity Funding
Riot has also given League of Legends players a role in deciding where some of its charitable funding goes through initiatives such as its annual charity voting campaigns.
The company’s charitable efforts have grown substantially since the Social Impact Fund was created. Riot says it and its players have collectively raised $74.5 million and supported 450 organizations across 28 regions.
League of Legends skins have been an important part of that fundraising.
One of Riot’s most notable early campaigns centered on Dawnbringer Karma, which became the game’s 1,000th skin and generated $6 million for charity. Riot later expanded its fundraising approach to other titles, including VALORANT through the Give Back Bundle.
The company has also used its games to support communities affected by humanitarian crises. A recent natural disaster relief campaign raised more than $3 million for the Social Impact Fund, with the money distributed among nine organizations involved in disaster recovery.
Riot’s Charity Efforts Continue
Riot’s charitable work has also extended beyond individual skin campaigns. In 2025, the company’s charity voting campaign allocated more than $5 million to 87 nonprofits, with players helping determine which organizations received funding.
Heartsong Seraphine is now the latest League of Legends cosmetic connected to this broader initiative.
The skin will also become Seraphine’s 13th cosmetic, following the champion’s T1 Worlds 2025 skin. It gives Seraphine players another addition to the champion’s growing collection while supporting Riot’s ongoing social impact efforts.
