Bandai developers are at it again and are dropping hints for Anna DLC For Tekken 8!
Gamers have noticed a similar pattern taken towards dropping Anna, akin to Tekken 6.
But let’s take a look at the hints and whether or not Anna is on her way.
Anna DLC For Tekken 8 Hinted At On Twitter
Fans have been speculating on potential DLC fighters since their release.
Some gamers believe they have even stumbled upon potential leaks. Dataminers on r/tekken claim that the season 1 DLC fighters have been found out.
But the runup only suggests Marduk, Fahk, and Lidia. These two returns from Tekken 7 have disappointed some fans, especially with Fahkuram being reinstated.
However, although the leak seems convincing, these characters may be runners-up somewhere down the line. We doubt this would be the first batch released for DCL season 1.
Instead, fans are speculating that Anna is here way early, given Harada’s hints. His polls online discussing Anna seem to suggest he is testing the waters for a potential Anna release. This is similar to his strategy with Tekken 7 before her release.
After a poll on Twitter asking fans who was their favorite out of the sister pair, he was surprised with the 51% vote for Anna.

In his typical troll fashion, he writes it off as 3% not being significant enough. But don’t worry, that’s just his little gag. Anna is in the works and may even be on the way this season.
But with regards to the potential leaks, their validity is still up in the air. Going off hexidecimal values found in the source code via a cheat engine could lead to potential finds. But that is akin to going through a word document and looking for matches via finding a word and jumping off that.
Many of these values and finds can be mere placeholders or thrown in for personal reference. Much like when writing lines of code, a coder leaves a little note behind for those wanting to understand what the function of a set of code means.
Guest Appearance Fighters
Ever since Negan from The Wallking Dead turned up to Tekken, the flood gates have been open for any guest fighter.
Many online have been asking Harada on Twitter for guest fighters, such as the likes of Clive from Final Fantasy 16 and Kiryu Kazama from the Yakuza (Like a Dragon) series.

But Harada once again is up to some foolery as he gives gag responses to most of his fans.
Once the relationship bomb drops on us, however, the difficulty of acquiring licenses for these characters. Yes, we would all love Tifa, and even Harada himself wants her in the game. But Harada has laid out that getting into contact with the right people and working from there takes a lot of time and effort.
One does not simply acquire the rights to use a brand’s iconic IP for their own fighting game franchise. You need to master the art of backroom deals and socializing to even get a foot in the door with the likes of some IPs.

However, Japanese companies and gaming IPs have a long history of successful crossovers working out just fine. For this first season, we predict no guest fighters. But in season 2, who knows… Saul Goodman breaks tech throws?
