British esports organization Guild Esports has secured a significant partnership with media and entertainment organization Sky UK.
Guild Esports is a global esports business headquartered in London and co-owned by David Beckham. Launched in June 2020, Guild’s goal is to build a culture of excellence with its team of professional athletes and around its brand and digital presence. Besides the partnership with Sky UK, they have previously partnered with Bitstamp, Razer, Samsung, Subway, and HyperX.
Through the partnership between Guild Esports and Sky UK, Sky UK gained exclusive naming rights to the organization’s facility in Shoreditch. In addition, Guild Esports will also see an all-female Rocket League.
“We believe this partnership will drive Guild to the highest levels of performance in top-flight esports across the four games where we field our pro-players, as well as to become a global leader in coaching and performance,” commented Kal Hourd, Chief Executive of Guild Esports.
Guild Esports’ HQ was unveiled earlier this year and will be named the Sky Guild Gaming Center and will be fitted with Sky broadband and Wi-Fi and Sky’s branding throughout the interior and exterior of the building.
According to the release, the partnership between Guild Esports and Sky UK will highlight three core commitments, which include greater opportunities for women in esports, delivering esports performance, coaching development, and the provision of esports competitions for Sky VIP customers.
The Guild Esports and Sky UK partnership will see several inclusive activations and opportunities for those in the esports and gaming industry.
