British esports organization Guild Esports extends and expands its partnership with electronics manufacturer Samsung.
Guild Esports is a global esports business headquartered in London and co-owned by David Beckham. Launched in June 2020, Guild’s goal is to build a culture of excellence with its team of professional athletes and around its brand and digital presence. Besides the renewal and expansion of its partnership with Samsung, they have partnered with Bitstamp, Razer, Samsung, Subway, and HyperX.
Through the expansion and extension of this partnership, Samsung will provide Guild Esports with its range of QLED TVs for its academy, players, and London HQ.
“Samsung has been a fantastic partner over the past 12 months, and we are delighted that they are deepening our partnership with a new sponsorship deal for their globally-admired television brand as well as an extension of our existing relationship.”
Kal Hourd, CEO and Co-founder of Guild Esports
“This is a resounding validation of Guild’s reach and value proposition by a world-class consumer brand, and we look forward to collaborating with them even more closely to deliver to our young and engaged esports audience,” commented Kal Hourd, CEO and Co-founder of Guild Esports, spoke on the expansion.
In addition, Samsung’s display vision has signed a one-year extension on its existing partnership with Guild Esports, which means that Samsung will remain Guild’s official display partner.
The partnership extension between Samsung and Guild Esports is an excellent addition to their portfolios and will help provide high-quality technology to the organization’s players and academy. After a £4.96m loss during a six-month period ending on March 31, 2022, for Guild Esports, the extension of this partnership will be a welcome relief for the esports organization.
