After parting ways with Jacob “Decemate” Lato, Paris Legion signed Thomas “GRVTY” Malin for the CDL 2022 Major 1 Championship.
Paris Legion had the worst record after Call of Duty League 2022 Major 1 Qualifiers with five losses and zero wins. This performance led the board to make a change before the playoffs. The French team parted ways with Decemate and signed GRVTY to make a difference on the battlefield. We will have a chance to see the new roster on duty after the first round of the winners’ bracket.
Paris Legion CDL 2022 Major 1 Championship Roster
GRVTY started his professional Call of Duty career back in 2017 under EMP HQ. After playing for various amateur teams, he signed a contract with FaZe Clan Black and got promoted to the main roster of the organization after four months. He played for different teams before the formation of the Call of Duty League.
With CDL’s start, GRVTY remained as a substitute player for Atlanta FaZe and then competed for Atlanta FaZe Academy in Call of Duty Challengers. He then left FaZe to join WestR. His latest stops were EastR and Team WaR. From now on, GRVTY will be playing for the Call of Duty League team, Paris Legion.
Paris Legion made the announcement right after parting ways with Decemate. They were probably weighing their options before making the change. As a result, the change has been made and Paris Legion will compete in the Call of Duty League 2022 Major 1 Championship with a slightly different roster.
After ending the Qualifiers Stage in the last spot, Paris Legion will start their Championship Stage journey from the losers’ bracket. The organization won’t have a second chance if they ever lose a series. They have a tough road ahead of them.
