Patch 2.2 introduced Tsurumi Island and the new character Thoma to Genshin Impact. However, as the patch is nearing the end, we already know what patch 2.3 will bring and what fans can expect from it.
Which characters banners will be available in Patch 2.3?
It has been confirmed that the upcoming patch will focus on Geo characters, and they will headline most banners. Geo user Albedo is expected to go live with his banner in the next patch, which will be his first rerun since his initial release. The 5 Star character is a top-tier unit and is perfect for players looking for a strong Geo character. Additionally, a new quest revolving around Albedo and a new four-star weapon fit for the Geo user will also get released.
New character Arataki Itto which several sources have leaked, will also make his debut next patch. His kit and stats are yet to be revealed, but he is expected to go live during the latter half of patch 2.2. Another Geo user making his debut next patch is the bow user Gorou. That said, very little has been revealed about the character, and we will have to wait for more details to come out.
The characters mentioned above will be the featured unit in upcoming banners. However, there will be more sub-featured characters that are yet to be revealed by miHoYo.

As of now, four new weapons have been confirmed, and these are mentioned below:

What is the release date for patch 2.3?
It has been confirmed that patch 2.3 will release on Wednesday, November 24. The patch will probably be big in size so expect around five hours of server downtime. Once the server maintenance completes, players will get 300 Primogems as compensation. Furthermore, players will get an extra 60 Primogems for each additional hour in the downtime.
