Gambit Esports swept the Japanese representatives Crazy Raccoon in their first Valorant Masters Berlin matchup.
The EMEA champions Gambit Esports came to Valorant Masters Berlin as one of the favorites. The CIS representatives have not made any mistakes in their first game against Crazy Raccoon. The second map was no different than the first one. Gambit Esports demolished their opponents, and the will face 100 Thieves in the Winners’ Match.
Gambit Esports made a fast start to the game and won the first two rounds thanks to Ayaz “nats” Akhmetshin, and Timofey “Chronicle” Khromov. The Viper-Sova duo showed magnificent performances in the early stages. The EMEA champions made it look so easy in the upcoming rounds. Crazy Raccoon failed to answer Gambit’s firepower except in the third round. The CIS representatives closed the first half with dominance, 11-1. The second half was no different as Gambit Esports closed out the first map with a score of 13-1.
Just like the first map, Gambit Esports once again started rapidly. The Japanese representatives had hard times dealing with all the strategies their opponents had and finally accepted their faith. GMB were literally playing with their food as they tried different strategies but still won all of the aim fights. Crazy Raccoon secured their first win in the tenth round. Until then, the game was 9-0 and totally one-sided. However, Gambit won two more rounds to put an end to the first half. The team won two more rounds in the second half and guaranteed themselves a spot in the Winners’ Match.
To sum up, it was a one-sided game for the European representatives. Gambit Esports will face the North American team, 100 Thieves, in the Winners’ match. On the other hand, Crazy Raccoon will play against the Brazilian team Havan Liberty in the upcoming days to renew their hopes.
