Gambit Esports, a Russian esports organization, has announced a partnership with EXMO, a cryptocurrency exchange platform.
Founded in 2013, Gambit Esports has grown into one of the dominant esports organizations across the globe. Gambit Esports (with AS Monaco Gambit) currently field teams in CS: GO, Fortnite, League of Legends, Dota 2, VALORANT, and Apex Legends. Along with EXMO, they have also partnered with leading brands and organizations such as Ultra Gear and Abios.
Through this partnership, EXMO and Gambit Esports will explore introducing and creating cryptocurrency opportunities for esports fans.
Many of our players have already become crypto-enthusiasts – cryptocurrencies have been a part of their portfolio for quite some time already, along with stocks and real estate. That’s why I support this partnership, which we launch together with one of the most tech-savvy cryptocurrency exchanges on the market. Welcome to the Gambit family, EXMO!
Konstantin Pikiner, Sports Director of Gambit Esports.
Besides venturing into the world of cryptocurrency, Gambit announced at the end of 2021 an NFT partnership with Nervos Network to launch a collection of digital trading cards.
EXMO is a cryptocurrency exchange that was founded in 2014. EXMO provides opportunities for trading and storing cryptocurrencies for over 2 million traders from all over the world.
With our joint initiative, we intend to highlight how much esports and cryptocurrencies have in common: both areas have become a part of modern life, and the last couple of years have only strengthened public interest in these industries. For traders, just like for esports athletes, such personal qualities as strategic thinking, courage, and speed of reaction to changes are of great importance. Together with Gambit, we want to create many interesting opportunities for our audiences.
Sergey Zhdanov, CEO of EXMO.
Like many esports organizations, Gambit is venturing into the world of NFTs and cryptocurrencies. Through their partnership with EXMO, they will help connect their esports fans with digital products and cryptocurrencies.
