Dubai-based esports, lifestyle and entertainment organization Galaxy Racer have announced the appointment of Zoey Ng as the Regional Marketing Manager for Southeast Asia.
Deep regional experience
Ng was previously the Marketing and Business Development Executive at SelectStart Pte Ltd., a Singapore-based esports consultancy agency, where she executed B2B and B2C marketing initiatives. For Yahoo Esports Southeast Asia, she conceptualized and curated content featuring esports athletes and talents in the Southeast Asia (SEA) region across game titles like Dota 2, Valorant, League of Legends: Wild Rift, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
She also handled the social media presence of Yahoo Esports Southeast Asia as well as FLS, SEA’s premier women gaming circuit. For FSL, she oversaw marketing activations over various PC and mobile esports titles. Ng is an avid Dota 2 and Wild Rift player, and loves watching Valorant recreationally.
As part of her new appointment, Ng will lead state-of-the-art marketing initiatives in SEA for both Galaxy Racer and Nigma Galaxy, Galaxy Racer’s competitive esports division. She will be working closely with the local marketing managers, focusing on the company’s aggressive expansion across the region.

Speaking about the new appointment, Galaxy Racer SEA Operations CEO Mitch Esguerra stated that as the rising content powerhouse in the region, Galaxy Racer puts great importance on securing the best internal talents in the field. He commented that Ng’s work are among the most notable marketing initiatives he has seen, and her creativity combined with her skillset will add value to what Galaxy Racer are planning to bring to communities they are present in now and will become in the near future. He added that with Ng’s leadership, the esports and gaming communities of the SEA region could expect a lot of great things from Galaxy Racer in the coming months.

Zoey Ng herself shared that Mitch Esguerra and Allan Phang have given her a great overview of Galaxy Racer’s strategic goals and direction, and these definitely align with her career aspirations and areas of interest. Coming from the esports news and media industry, she shared that she was very impressed with how fast the brand had expanded into the SEA region.
She added that she was more than excited to embark on this new journey, and bring Galaxy Racer to even greater heights through strategic marketing initiatives across Southeast Asia. She asked fans to stay on their toes, as the recent merger with Team Nigma will mean there will be a lot to share.
