The LEC 2023 Winter Season started yesterday with the first games of the split. Today, the second matches were played between the competitors. Some of the teams met the expectations, and some of them failed to impress their fans. G2 Esports, KOI, MAD Lions, and Team Vitality were the dominant teams of the week as all of them won both of their matches.

On the first day of the week, G2 Esports started the fire with an easy win over EXCEL. G2 met the expectations with a satisfying win. KOI also secured an easy win in their first game of the season. Team Heretics’ Ruby popped off in his LEC debut and carried his team to victory. MAD Lions had a spectacular performance with the new roster to start the season in style. Team Vitality won the most important game of the day by taking down Fnatic.

Team BDS started the day with a win over SK Gaming which is very important for their standings before the groups. MAD Lions continued their streak with a fairly easy win over Astralis. Team Vitality’s strong performance on day one continued on the second day and they grabbed an important win over one of the underdogs of the league, Team Heretics. Trymbi had a great performance against EXCEL to help his team win. Again, the most important game of the day was the last one. G2 Esports came up against Fnatic and thanks to Hans sama’s great performance, the organization moved on to the second week with two wins.
