Using this guide, you can complete challenges and collect your weekly trove of EXP to level up faster in Season 7’s Battle Pass.
The new Epic and Legendary challenges of Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 7 Week 6 are now live. To gain access to the skins and cosmetics introduced with the new Fortnite battle pass, you’ll need a massive amount of experience points to gain Battle Stars. Completing weekly challenges is the best way to earn XP since this week’s challenges alone offer about 390,000 in total.
Fortnite Season 7 Week 6 Epic Challenges
Following up on our Week 5 Challenge Guide, here’s the full list of Fortnite Chapter 2’s Season 7 Week 6 Epic Challenges:
- Collect gold bars (500) – 30,000 XP
- Spend gold bars (500) – 30,000 XP
- Destroy equipment on top of Abductors (3) – 30,000 XP
- Open chests or ammo boxes in low-gravity areas (3) – 30,000 XP
- Deploy alien nanites anywhere other than Holly Hatchery (3) – 30,000 XP
- Destroy alien trees (5) – 30,000 XP
The numbers in the brackets refer to the times a respective action needs to be performed to complete the challenge and earn the XP reward mentioned alongside. Though most of the Epic challenges are self-explanatory, a couple of them may require added guidance.
Collect gold bars (500) – 30,000 XP
Gold Bars are the currency in Fortnite and you can use them to purchase Exotic weapons, hire NPCs to fight for you and more. Gold bars are available as loot after breaking Chests, Cash Registers, ATMs and similar items. Gold Bars can also be earned by eliminating players and completing bounties. You can spend Gold Bars, the next challenge, to buy materials and supply drops, become a prop, hire an NPC as well as purchase exotic weapons.
Open chests or ammo boxes in low-gravity areas (3) – 30,000 XP
Your best bet will be to head to Holly Hatchery and search for ammo boxes within the deployed alien nanites. They’re the massive, fluorescent cubes spread across the town, some of which encompass houses too. So completing this challenge won’t be a hassle.
Destroy alien trees (5) – 30,000 XP
The Alien Trees are the purple trees spread all over the map. You can even see them from your map screen. Drop into any deep purple zone and you’ll find alien trees to destroy.
Fortnite Season 7 Week 6 Legendary Challenges
Here’s the full list of Fortnite Chapter 2’s Season 7 Week 6 Legendary Challenges:
Get Slone’s orders from a payphone (1) – 15,000 XP
It seems like players can’t catch a break from this Payphone challenge. These payphones are a little different as they are relatively modern-looking and shouldn’t be confused with the phone booths that you could hide in. Here are all the locations for the payphones:
Place prepper supplies in Hayseed’s Farm (1) – 45,000 XP
All of the possible prepper supplies are highlighted on the map below. Once you approach these locations, a blue outline will appear and a prompt to “Place prepper supplies” will appear. You then need to hold the use button until the supplies have been place.
Deal damage to opponents in farms (25) – 30,000 XP
To complete this challenge, simply drop at Farmer Steel’s (now Hayseed’s) farm or at Corny Complex. Damage within those limits will count towards this challenge.
Use an Inflate-A-Bull (1) – 30,000 XP
An Inflate-A-Bull will allow players to use a cow-shaped balloon to bounce across the island at will. You won’t be able to shoot while inside an Inflate-A-Bull but you’re still at risk of being shot down from, so be careful!
Place cow decoys in farms (3) – 30,000 XP
Similar to the prepper supplies challenge, you will have to approach potential locations of these cow decoys, where a blue outline will be eminent and a prompt to “Place cow decoy” will appear. You then need to hold the use button until the decoy has been placed. Simply repeat this on two other locations to complete the challenge. Here are all the locations you can place a cow decoy:
Damage an alien-driven saucer (25) – 30,000 XP
Land at one of the map’s POIs that is flashing purple, which changes each match. After landing, collect a gun from either floor loot or by opening a chest. Then, simply aim and shoot at the saucer flying above until the challenge is completed.
