We are now in the final week of Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 7: Alien Invasion. While the coming of this week suggests a potential main event, there are also new Epic and Legendary quests for Week 14 challenges that you must tackle to make one final stride towards completing the battle pass.
To gain access to the skins and cosmetics introduced with the new Fortnite battle pass, you’ll need a massive amount of experience points to gain Battle Stars. Completing weekly challenges is the best way to earn XP since this week’s challenges alone offer about 375,000 in total. Before we delve deeper into the guide, it is worth noting that these challenges will only be available till the main event on 12th September, which will make way for Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8 expected to release on the 13th of September.
Fortnite Season 7 Week 14 Epic Challenges
Following up on our Week 13 Challenge Guide, here’s the full list of Fortnite Chapter 2’s Season 7 Week 14 Epic Challenges:
- Activate a rift after purchasing it from a character (1) – 30,000 XP
- Collect foraged items at Corny Complex (4) – 30,000 XP
- Destroy alien eggs (3) – 30,000 XP
- Eliminate an attached alien parasite (1) – 30,000 XP
- Ignite structures in Holly Hatchery and Corny Complex (25) – 30,000 XP
- Damage opponents while in a vehicle (150) – 30,000 XP
- Pop tires on IO vehicles (1) – 30,000 XP
The numbers in the brackets refer to the times a respective action needs to be performed to complete the challenge and earn the XP reward mentioned alongside. Though most of the Epic challenges are self-explanatory, a few of them may require added guidance.
Activate a rift after purchasing it from a character (1) – 30,000 XP
Although this quest is relatively straightforward, the only obstacle you might face is finding out the locations of the NPCs selling a rift. Here are the three NPCs and their locations who currently indulge in such a trade:
Rick Sanchez: Defiant Dish, the Fortnite IO Base east of Weeping Woods
Bunker Jonesy: Near Lumber Lodge, south of Misty Meadows
Beast Boy: Near the Wooden Bridge at the center of Weeping Woods
Destroy alien eggs (3) – 30,000 XP
Holly Hatchery is the most convenient location for destroying alien eggs. On the southeast corner of the POI, there is a little breeding area with several of these unhatched eggs. Once you locate them, use a rifle to destroy them. Make sure not to go too near these eggs, or they’ll burst before you have the chance to shoot them. If you are running low on eggs to shoot, head to Durr Burger, which itself hosts a few of these eggs as well.
Eliminate an attached alien parasite (1) – 30,000 XP
Instead of shooting the eggs as you did in the previous challenge, you could let one hatch and attach it onto your teammate. Once it does, use your weapon to eliminate it. There are no downsides to doing this even if you have a bad aim since Fortnite does not have friendly fire; therefore, your teammate won’t be damaged from your shots. However, a parasite latching onto them might trigger the infected status and will cause gradual deterioration on HP.
Ignite structures in Holly Hatchery and Corny Complex (25) – 30,000 XP
To complete this challenge, you will have to use fireflies to ignite a total of 25 structures in either of the two locations. Fireflies can be obtained from Weeping Woods and other areas at a random look for their orange glow near a group of trees. They play a similar role to Molotovs in other shooters, so once you decide on a structure to ignite simply throw your fireflies and watch the magic happen.
Pop tires on IO vehicles (1) – 30,000 XP
Look for an IO vehicle at any satellite station or within Corny Complex. The vehicle is a black sedan with an IO insignia on the body. After locating the vehicle, simply shoot or pickaxe the tires to complete the challenge.
Fortnite Season 7 Week 14 Legendary Challenges
Here’s the full list of Fortnite Chapter 2’s Season 7 Week 14 Legendary Challenges:
- Get Slone’s orders from a payphone – 15,000 XP
- Warn characters of impending doom (3) – 45,000 XP
- Place warning signs (4) – 30,000 XP
- Shut down the radar dishes (2) – 30,000 XP
- Spoil the mole’s sabotage attempt (1) – 30,000 XP
- Confront the mole (1) – 30,000 XP
Contrary to the Epic Challenges, all of the Legendary Challenges require additional guidance, which is why we have divided the latter half of this guide into sections detailing how each challenge can be completed.
Get Slone’s orders from a payphone – 15,000 XP
It wouldn’t be the end to Legendary challenges without getting Slone’s order from a payphone. To complete the challenge, find a payphone at any of the bus stops, including one on the far west end of Misty Meadows. Then hold the interact button until the dialogue from Slone is displayed and the challenge is marked complete. Here are all the locations for the payphones:
Warn characters of impending doom (3) – 45,000 XP
NPCs have become a mainstay in Fortnite battle royale. In addition to giving bounties and missions to gain Gold Bars, some of these NPCs will sell you weapons and supplies, while others will Duel you for hefty prizes if you win. There are currently 22 NPCs scattered throughout the map and talking to any three NPCs should be enough to complete the challenge. Here are the locations of all the NPCs:
Place warning signs (4) – 30,000 XP
There are a few POIs where you can place warning signs. You can place these warning signs either in Misty Meadows, Dirty Docks, or Pleasant Park. Since you only need to place 4 warning signs to complete the challenge, here are the warning sign locations in Misty Meadows and Dirty Docks:
Misty Meadows:
- On the northern road, beside the coffee shop
- Right outside the deli
- Outside the covered picnic area beside the clock tower.
Dirty Docks:
- Towards the right of the silver warehouse.
- Right outside the building at the center of the POI
- Beside the tall cranes at the dock.

Shut down the radar dishes (2) – 30,000 XP
To complete this challenge, head to any two of the several radar dish stations around the island. Once you enter the base, find a power box, and interact with it to shut down the dish stations and complete this challenge. There are seven IO radar disk locations to choose from:
- North of Pleasant Park
- East of Craggy Cliffs
- East of Weeping Woods
- Southeast of Misty Meadows
- Southwest of Sludgy Swamps
- West of Dirty Docks
- West of Believer Beach
Spoil the mole’s sabotage attempt (1) – 30,000 XP
Considering that Corny Complex is in the middle of alien abduction, start by heading over to the floating barn at Corny Complex. Once inside the barn, go downstairs into the basement and search for the room with the bomb. On locating the bomb, simply walk up and interact with it to spoil the mole’s sabotage attempt by deactivating the bomb. It is also worth mentioning that the bomb can be accessed from outside as shown by the video below:
Confront the mole (1) – 30,000 XP
If you aren’t aware of the storyline thus far, Maven has been the mole doing all of Slone’s dirty work. To confront her, you need to land at the IO base between Craggy Cliffs and Steamy Stacks. The location of the same is marked on the map.
Once you’ve landed here, make your way inside the IO base and go meet Maven. Approach her and engage in a dialogue. Make sure to cycle through the entire conversation to complete the challenge.
