Fortnite’s All-Star Showdown was an invitation-only competition that featured the greatest players from Chapter 2 – Seasons 5 and 6.
Early this week, players from all around the world competed in talent challenges to determine the top editors, builders and aimers. While those competitions were entertaining, they couldn’t match the hype of the Solo Championship finale.
All-Star Showdown Format
Ninety players earned the right to compete through their success over the past two Fortnite Champion Series events. Ten additional players won their way into the All-Star Showdown through the Play-In tournament held last week. These 100 players queued into six matches and went head-to-head for their share of $3M.
Europe

In Europe, which is regarded as the strongest region in the world, there was spectacular action with Guild Esports player Tai “TaySon” Starčičand coming out on top with an incredible performance in the final match. After a shaky start, he followed that up with a Victory Royale, a second and a fifth place in his following three matches, before ending off the day with a six-elimination victory. He finished the day with 134 points, including fourteen eliminations and two victories. Winning the All-Star Showdown earned him a $150,000 share of the prize pool.
Apart from solo Veno’s 122 points, TaySon was miles ahead of the competition with the third place being almost 50 points behind! Veno had a considerably decent performance in each of the six matches and managed to secure an impressive $120,000.

Regardless, he had an outstanding performance, with ten eliminations and a Victory Royale in the third match. Lastly, the third-placefinsiher BBG Khanada was in the lead for the majority of the day, but his last three matches did not play out in his favor. In the last match, Frapai had a genuine opportunity to win. He had two victories under his belt and a top-ten finish would have secured the event for him.
