If you don’t have a decent striker in your team in Ultimate Team, you would waste all the potential of other members of the squad. High pace is one of the essential specialties for a striker, but it isn’t enough by itself. Physical supremacy and being able to shoot greatly are the following attributes you should focus on while choosing an attacker.
Iñaki Williams – Athletic Bilbao
Iñaki is a perfect fit for a low-budget squad. Especially at the beginning of FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, you’ll probably see him on your opponents’ teams a lot. Having a high pace makes him a solid cheap option, although his other attributes are not that outstanding. That being said, Iñaki Williams becomes insufficient as the game progresses.
Timo Werner – Chelsea FC
The German striker found plenty of places in the line-ups for FIFA 21. In addition to having one of the highest paces in the game, his 4-star weak foot provides him so much flexibility in the positions. Since he’s German and playing in the Premier League, linking him with other players is easier.

Some players are bored of using the meta cards as most users do in FIFA. In times like this, a few players come to the forefront and Alex Teixeira is one of them. If you think about creating a Brazilian squad in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, you won’t regret giving the jersey to Alex.
Rodrigo Moreno Machado – Leeds United
The Premier League is among the best places to find a solid striker for an early-period team. Rodrigo doesn’t have superb weak foot skills, which makes him cheaper, but he does a great job in a formation that features two strikers. I don’t recommend using him as the only striker in the squad due to lack of physicality.
Memphis Depay – Barcelona FC
He offers much more than his attributes look. Memphis Depay is a full-package striker with above-average features. Considering he transferred to one of the biggest clubs in the world this year, he’ll probably receive an upgrade which will make him more eligible to be used. I love playing with Depay myself, as he’s so strong with the ball and he’s able to create enough space for his teammates. Give him a try.
Wissam Ben Yedder – AS Monaco
The French striker has been among the favorites of FIFA players for a couple of years. The biggest reason is his 5-star weak foot ability, which helps Ben Yedder score from countless angles. The 31-year-old footballer’s card will be expensive in the early period of FIFA 22, but you won’t need to change for a long time after buying him.
Luis Muriel – Atalanta BC
Italy’s Serie A doesn’t offer many options when it comes to the strikers, especially for a starting squad. Luis Muriel has enough skill set to fill the spot in a Serie A-based team, but putting him in a hybrid roster is tough since he’s a Colombian and there aren’t many Colombian meta cards.
